* My translation here is the most close to what written with those (毘藍) kanjis word may mean. As far as I know, the word doesn’t exist itself in Japanese language in this shape, it’s a part of the name 毘藍婆風, which is the name of Sacred Wind of Destruction that blows violently at the turn of kalpas (eons) to destroy the world. It’s a Buddhist term and all I can add here is that Mrs Idzutsu used it simply in meaning of Punishment or Destruction.
