Kanji: hiphop vomit
Transcription & translation: Ariane
Note: The song is actually more simple than I thought. There are surprisingly no traps this time.
KANJI *:--☆--:*:--☆:*:--☆--:*:--☆-:

ENGLISH *:--☆--:*:--☆:*:--☆--:*:--☆-:
Patching, working out their true nature, with false smiles they array (1)
Writhing in pain, chopped off speaking-the-truth tongues are like lizard’s tails
Tight shackles of life, swaying back and forth torch (2)
Death in darkness is drifting in the night (3) you will only lose your fellow travelers
(Coming) Endlessly one after another
Bugs are creeping into my head
(Coming) Endlessly one after another
Crawling wandering bites scratching nails
What do they chase? What do they look for? What do they cling to?
Not seeing, not knowing the answers Night Parade of One Hundred Demons keeps moving forward
Heart starts wailing at those noisy musicians
They rip up lying throats and that’s what becomes the voice of truth
Will they struggle not to drown in the darkness and die? Or will they spread the dark, paw the ground and die?
Trembles with fear at the lies stroking the darkness, therefore the light is loafing
It burns, melts the life, dies in a lie
(Coming) Endlessly one after another
Bugs are creeping into my head
(Coming) Endlessly one after another
Laid worm eggs drip thick with goo
Consciousness slip through, stained and put down with the sludge of conspiracy
Night Parade of One Hundred Demons keeps moving forward led by merciless hands
At the sounds of those noisy musicians world loses its confidence
With your ears blocked you cannot look back; moving forward, going back home, both options are scary scary (4)
Lies you licked all over are like nectar; not aware you keep spitting them over and over
Nearby… one of the disguises fell and behind it thousands of deceits rose
Will they struggle not to drown in the darkness and die? Or will they spread the dark, paw the ground and die?
Night wind sweeps away swaying lanterns, incoherent footprints of your own life
(1) This comes from Japanese 右へ習う, which simply means array (often used in reference to military troops or sports) or following person at one’s right hand. Why right? It’s a cultural thing and Japanese don’t really know why themselves.
(2) In Japanese culture torch/light/lamp is very often used as metaphor for “life”.
(3) Originally “藻屑” means sinking of the ship or death in sea, but here “sea” has been replaced by “darkness”. Due to the story one, who saw the Parade died together with his relatives.
(4) May refer to Japanese children’s song (Tooryanse). Person familiar with those songs will hear that the base of Kiryu’s song is actually very similar to it.
